In the past, the management of cement plants were able to buy their automatic central laboratory either in one total package from one of the few specialised companies or buy the individual pieces of equipment according to their needs.

The first option meant a commitment to a complete system currently available on the market, with all its advantages and disadvantages. By  choosing the second possibility, the management were forced to do the engineering by themselves.

Our engineering service is geared to summarise in one system all laboratory components used within one plant or company. The customer provides the individual tools like sample-taker, pipe mail, mill, press and analysers and we deliver the PLC programme for the processing level and, in cooperation with a software company, the open and fully-automated laboratory system.

You thereby receive a general, modular and manufacturer independent laboratory system to be used within the cement industry, which is able to control the leading sample-taking and preparation machinery as well as the analysis equipmentThe principle functions of this system are:

•       controlling of the sample evaluation and analysis equipment
•       sample follow-up and filing
•       user service on intranet/internet-based with a www-browser
•       independently configurable
•       log-in dependent multi-lingual user guidance
•       analysis equipment by Sympatec, Malvern, ARL, Bruker and Philips are supported
•       sample taker from Pfaff, Herzog and others are possible and compatible
•       PLC-connection via TCP/IP (Simatic S5/S7)
•       The processing level can be operated and controlled via Cemat V2/V5
•       Configuration and activation of closed-loop-structures for an on-line adjustment of the process
